描くことへの情熱と、独学で磨き上げた、唯一無二の視点。
子供の頃から模写や鉛筆画に親しみ、仕事では建築パースやエアブラシ、デジタル制作に長年携わってきました。プロの現場で培った多種多様な経験が、私の絵の基礎となっています。
専門的な教育は受けておらず、すべて独学で技術を習得してきました。遠回りもしましたが、その分、自分だけの表現を自由に追求できたと感じています。絵と向き合う瞬間の気持ちを大切に、これからも独自の作品を形にしていきます。

About the Artist: Masato Watanabe
A passion for drawing and a unique perspective refined through self-study.
Since childhood, I have been drawn to sketching and pencil drawing. Professionally, I spent many years working with architectural perspectives, airbrushing, and digital creation. The diverse experiences I gained in professional fields form the foundation of my art today.

Having never received formal art education, I mastered my techniques entirely through self-teaching. Although it was a long and winding road, I believe it allowed me to freely pursue my own expression. Cherishing the emotions I feel when facing the canvas, I will continue to give shape to my own unique vision.

Since 2016, I have sold hundreds of original watercolor paintings to collectors in over 20 countries worldwide. In 2023 and 2025, I published "Masato Watanabe Watercolor Collection Vol. 1 & 2." My work continues to document the landscapes of Japan, including Kyoto, through the delicate light and color of transparent watercolors.
